Maya is a multidisciplinary artist creating moving and still images, stories, and installations. A graduate of Central Saint Martins in product design, she works as a designer, illustrator, animator, and conducts art workshops.

Her most recent solo exhibition, Floating on Land, took place in London. Her duo exhibition, Here, a moment ago, was held in 2024 at the Istanbul Design Museum. She participated in the From the Field project and exhibition, which was supported under the British Council’s Inclusivity through Art & Design grant.

Maya’s animated short film has received awards at festivals such as the World of Film International Festival Glasgow and was featured in selections including Raindance and Venezia Shorts.

She is currently working on her art book Notes, you can forget now, and preparing for an upcoming solo exhibition in London this April.
